Renault TRIBER AMT: the new name of convenience and comfort

The Rs. 5 to 10 Lakhs category is one of the most happening car categories in India. With most hatchbacks, compact sedans, and also some of the base and mid versions of most well-known compact SUVs falling in this category, it commands the highest consumer attention among car buyers in the country.

Some of the most popular cars in this price range vary from the Wagon R & Santro in the budget hatchback category, Baleno, Swift, Tiago, Jazz, etc. in the premium hatch category, Swift Dezire, Aura, Tigor in the compact sedan category and base versions of compact SUVs like the Breeza, Nexon and Renault DUSTER. Besides these, one exciting addition that has happened in this price range is the recently launched Renault TRIBER AMT. While the manual version of the TRIBER was launched earlier in August 2019 and has been hugely successful, its recently launched AMT version has also been gathering fantastic reviews and creating waves.

Given the rapid improvements in automatic transmission technology over the past few years, AMT cars have now become much smoother to drive and even attractive on the price front too. Without compromising on the comfort, features, and safety aspects of the car, the primary advantage of an AMT car over its manual-drive sibling is the promise of a fatigue-free drive to its driver.

Unfortunately, most cars available in this price range are 5-seaters barring the exceptions of some 7-seater MUVs like Ertiga. Unfortunately, there is no automatic 7-seater in this category at all. So if the customer wants to have a 7-seater automatic, then he/she needs to up the price point substantially to even venture close.

Well, this was the pre-Renault TRIBER AMT era!

With a starting price point of Rs. 6.25Lakh (ex. showroom Delhi) for the AMT and Rs. 4.99 Lakh for the manual version, the TRIBER created a revolution of a sort with its fantastic value proposition. No wonder then, the TRIBER sold like hot cakes when it was launched last year!

The TRIBER is a 7-seater in true sense. With no compromise on seating space when it comes to the rear two rows, the TRIBER gives a run for its money to the established 7-seaters in the country today. However, what has worked in the car's favor is the fact that besides being the only 7-seater available at this price point, the car offers some of the most amazing features. Technologically superior and BS6 compliant engine, an attractive exterior, ergonomically and intelligently designed interiors, latest safety features, and an overall well-designed car is a combination that is going to make the Renault TRIBER AMT a winner, just like its manual sibling.

However, the two things that really take the car to the next level of ownership experience are its ultra-modular 100+ seating configurations and the super smooth AMT drive. Within seconds, the car can be configured into a 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7-seater while AMT delivers a fatigue-free drive even on the most congested roads by getting rid of the clutch and gear. With such “to-die-for” features, the Renault TRIBER AMT is all set to rule the road.

Customers get an option to visit their nearest Renault showrooms to test drive. Or, just like the new-age AMT, they can book the test drive online. But in either case, the Renault TRIBER AMT promises an experience of a lifetime!
